14 Jul Connecting to God’s plan for your life
How do I go about this? What path do I follow? Is there a fast track approach?
These are valid questions from a seeking heart. We are created with an innate yearning to connect with God for true fulfilment, our internally built “God-trigger” has been divinely timed for each individual, causing a divine chain of events that is designed to draw us closer to God for His Glory and our divine fulfilment.
So how does this play out?
Our desire for more, for something better is ignited by God Himself, but we must be willing to yield to Him. No one comes to God or repentance in error, it is a willingness on our path to surrender that brings us to Him.
That act of surrender leads us into the realm of prayers, into the presence of the Holy One of Israel, into the court room of heaven and there we plead our case, we seek for His mercy, His help in time of our need, we are convinced and convicted of who He is and who we are and at that very moment nothing matters but HIM and all He wants for us.
“Prayer is such a beautiful gift from God.”
And without hesitation God our heavenly Father strips us of every garment of sin, shame, guilt and spiritual poverty and instantly clothes us with His garment of mercy, salvation, He empowers us with joy in the Holy Ghost, disconnecting us from our past and connecting us to a new life, a new Source (2 Corth 5 vs 17) what a joy indeed. This brings to mind the words of psalms 42 vs 1-2:
As the deer pants [longingly] for the water brooks, So my soul pants [longingly] for You, O God. My soul (my life, my inner self) thirsts for God, for the living God. When will I come and see the face of God?
Be still. Listen carefully. Can you hear it, that gentle, soft voice within you longing, pulling at your heart, making you restless? Your soul is in need of Him who is able to quench it’s thirst and satisfy forever. Nothing else will do.
Something beautiful is about to be released by heavens agenda, Joel 2 vs 28-29.
“After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, both men and women (Joel 2:28-29 ERV).
God our heavenly Father is reconnecting with His own, and in Him lies the plan for your life, are you willing?
