My Testimony

Last year was a handful for me, as I had major goals to achieve, new projects I got involved in, requiring major changes in my life and me having to adjust totally to new things and new ways as I faced my targets.
But life happened as it always does, with several other matters surfacing and bugging me down, towards the last quarter of the year I was really overwhelmed not because I wasn’t meeting my targets but because those other issues were weighing me down and wearing me out. I was exhausted emotionally and this took its toll on me spiritually too, I ran to the one place and one person I knew could help me, yet I felt unable to ‘connect’, not because He didn’t want to help me, I was in such a state of despair to ‘see’ or ‘hear’ clearly.
Remember His promise in Hebrews 4 : 16? “Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].”
The turnaround for me came “at the right time” He knows my frame, He sees my heart, like Jesus reached out to Peter when the latter cried out for help while drowning, He reached out for me and saved me from been drowned by all that was going on. His plan for me was to end the year in praise and joy and it was also important taking His plans for the new year into consideration.

Sharing this is to encourage someone who will get to read and is feeling beaten down and/or unaccomplished, and is thinking how and where the strength to face 2020 will come. Just remember He knows you, He loves you and only the best of Him is yours for the asking, “I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Be encouraged, be strong, you have another opportunity, a brand new year to give things a shot, to grow in those areas you are struggling, that’s God’s sincere desire for you as well (Ephesians 4 :14-16).

The video summaries my heartfelt gratitude and joy. Do enjoy your journey!!!
