Year 2021

Year 2021

The much anticipated year is here at last.

Indeed, the last 365 days impacted everyone in many ways than can be imagined. Some crossed over with scars, others bitter experiences, even losses. However, it was not all misery, pain, and loss, we gained new perspectives, a better approach to life, relationships, and situations, more wisdom and understanding as well.

“Every pain has a purpose”

I believe faith in God kept us strong. His faithfulness. His promises gave us strength, reassurance, and hope. Despite all, we are standing!!!

“God is faithful forever”

Penning this reminds me of a young lady who was struggling to stay afloat, with many pits and faults to achieve balance with her life at some point she literally raised herself to her feet and proclaimed to herself “no matter what, yet I shall rise.”

A new dawn is here. A new beginning! This will mean different things to different people. A new beginning brings hope, it presents opportunities. A clean slate. A fresh start.

The days ahead are so promising “this will give you something to hope for that will not disappoint you.” Proverbs 23:18.

Crossing over into a new year is not about getting out of the previous year but looking up to where your help comes from “I look up to the hills, but where will my help really come from? My help will come from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2.

His promises are ever sure “God’s love can always be trusted, and His faithfulness lasts as long as the heavens.” Psalms 89:2.

You must take a stand “People who know their God will display strength and take action.” Daniel 11: 32b.

Like Job, remember that your Redeemer (Defender, Healer, Helper, and Friend) lives Job 19:25.

What will be your proclamations going forward?

Finally, whatever way you choose to approach the year be reminded of the most important goals to work on;

  • Getting closer to God, your Creator
  • Reconsider your ways and start living a purpose-driven life
  • It is time to follow your Purpose and Passion. Act now and put in motion that much thought out plan, that great idea or project

As you build your expectations for a better year ahead, The Tsom team sincerely prays that you will discover and walk in His plans and purposes for your life, and may you enjoy the year in good health in Jesus name. Amen.

Without a doubt, 2020 came like a whirledwind, hurling different situations and scenarios at the world.

We are alive today to tell the story of 2020 because the Almighty, Creator of all, allowed it.

As we continue the sojourn into 2021 and beyond by His mercies,……
like you rightly said we need to take a stand, hold on to the helm of His garment knowing that 2021 shall start and end in praise in Jesus Mighty Name

Thank you for the beautiful piece sis, quite refreshing….
