You vs You

You vs You

Hello mummies, it is another week loaded with opportunities, challenges, work schedule/timelines, personal needs and an ever growing to-do list, the list can go on and on. But I am super sure that you all have things under control (?).

This week I will like us to consider a virtal matter, this is key to how we execute those tasks, seemingly effortlessly. Truth be told the most demanding job/assignment/ministry is that of being a mummy. You can argue it out if you choose to, but I am very convinced.
I truly admire The Woman, be she black, white, Asian, wherever she comes from does not really matter, what matters is we are all unified in this awesome responsibility called Motherhood (I personally prefer mummyhood, for me there’s a huge difference between being a mother and a mummy). That said I get so concerned about how many mummies are getting exhausted, burnt-out, even tempted to quit just to achieve some sanity in their lives. These frustrations are not borne out of lack of love for the family, or the children neither is it a function of a dearth of financial or materially resources.

There’s a place of/for self-enhancement, which I absolutely recommend. Here every woman is afforded the opportunity to explore her spiritual and mental core, by so doing you are simply asking yourself questions about the person you are and your meaning. Ask yourself: Who am I? What is my purpose? What do I value most? These questions will lead you down a road where you will think more in-depth about yourself and allow you to notice things about yourself that will help you achieve fulfillment.

Enough of getting drowned in every other responsibility and begin to look out for yourself. Invest in your spiritual and mental core that way you are not only equipping yourself for others expectations of you but most importantly you are strengthening yourself to be all you dream to be. There is so much within, much wisdom embedded and a world to impact, let us get going, no one else is responsible for you but YOU.
#Yes mummyhood rocks but YOU rock more.

I agree. Every mother/woman must invest in developing herself. Every woman deserves to be better at everything. No woman deserves to be left behind.
I am inspired to keep investing on improving myself in every area.
Thanks for sharing your thought sis.
